    Comanchee ridge, Bastrop, TX 12/14/08

Had a great time, looking forward to the next oportunity. Here are all the photos from my camera and Heather's camera. Got more pictures of your rig than my own. :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> In this one you can see all three Bronco's. My dashboard and hood...

    6 inch lift

Lengthened driveshafts are not needed. Lots of guys, me included, been running 6" lift with stock shafts for very long time with no problems. I don't know how you plan to use yours, but I wheel the crap out of mine (rocks, mud, and trails) and have never had a driveshaft problem. Broke a...

    Wheel Travel

JSM84 makes a good point about the tire size. The bigger, the better for rock crawling. But I did this (see video) with just 35 inch tires. It probably wouln't have snapped if the front was not locked, but then without the locker, I wouldn't have made it to point where it broke. Catch 22...

    Wheel Travel

I'm not sure of the exact amount of travel, but there is very little difference in wheel travel between a standard 4", 6" or stock ttb. Reason being is that when the lift goes in you move all the mounting points straight down, so the limited geometry of the TTB isn't really changed. (it's just...

    Front Blues....

Have you taken it to an alignment shop yet? All the parts you listed have an effect on front end alignment. Since you've replaced old worn parts with new tight parts, you surely need an alignment. Your description sounds like it has too much toe-in. If the front is toed in too much, the...

removing the top on a 94

I've been running for years with the hardtop off, never had any issues about the brake light. Having worked in LE for a while (Military Police), I wouldn't hassle a Bronco driver about the third light. Now if I had you pulled over for something else, say maybe some kind of moving violation...

    1990 5.8 litre....timing belt or chain?

It has a chain, and unlike the belts used on most four-bangers, it will normaly last the life of the engine. Most car makers recomend changing a timing belt at X number of miles (usually 100,00 or more) but that is only to prevent haveing the belt break while the engine is running. Your chain...

    Quick question.

The 96 has three, one on each side of the y-pipe and on just past the second cat.

    TTB Dual shock question

It's true that the front shock, being the larger of the two, would be considered the primary and simply because of it's larger volume would be more effective in dampening the suspension. But, on F150's and Broncos that don't have the quad shocks, they only have the shorter one that's mounted...

    Protection

Ruffstuff makes a pretty stout diff cover. Don't know of anyone who makes "body armor" like you can find for a jeep, but several venders make good rocksliders. Bumpers are out there too, but they tend to be pretty pricey.

    speedometer correction

The process is even easier than "bolt on". Litteraly takes less than 5 minutes once you do the math. Here is just one of many write-ups on the process.

    pitman arm

The bend goes downward or away from the box. The hole is slightly tapered, so I think it will only fit one way.

    camo,and progamer

This guy did an awsome camo paint job on his Bronco using stencils and spraycans. Not your usual military style camo, but I think it looks pretty good.

Key Fob Programming/ Factory Alarm Woes

I don't know why your alarm is going off. But I do know that on my 96 I have disconected the battery numerous times and never had to reprogram anything accept the clock.

    4 Door Bronco

Ford didn't make any. They are aftermarket conversions. This one made by Centurion from a two wheel drive F350 and a Bronco.
