I just came across a great deal. A fully rebuilt NP435/ NP208 Small Block setup, and a C6/ NP208 setup all for $125. My Bronco is eventually going to be a daily driver, hence I'd like to go with the C6, and hold onto the NP435 for a later date. I will be mating this to a 1982(basically)302 and already have a 50oz flexplate. I know I'll need the cooler lines, shifter, a kickdown cable, new cross member, and possibly driveshafts. Is there anything else I need to think about before doing this swap. The vehicle came with a 435/205 combo. I've also thought about switching the 208 for the 205. Are the tail adapters the same? Thanks.

For the c6 these are all possible things I could think of, I am sure you have some or most, when your all done add it up and see if might want too shift still the c6 and np435 are both three speeds but the 435 still has granny gearing I drive 2,3,4 in the 435 on the street

1. flex plate

bell housing

starter too match above

proper torque converter for gearing and engine power

fluids

trans

dip stick

electronics if needed

transmission cooler lines

trans cooler or proper radiator

automatic foot pedels if desired

auto to trans case adapter

auto inspection plate/cover

trans case

auto trans shifter

trans case shifter

floor board mods/ tunnel fab

speedo hookup adapters, new

transfer case crossmember new manufactured and the like, bushings and steel and bolts, welding

drive shafts new or rebuilt front and rear, ujoints

misc nuts bolts gaskets sealants

proper tools

kick down cable and adapters

transmission rebuild

transfer case rebuild

tuning kick down and shifter adjustments

Thanks for the info. I already have alot of the items, but I think I might just go ahead with the rebuilt 435, but mate the 205 instead of the 208. I already have everything to do this other than a 50oz imbalance flywheel. The tranny came with a flywheel for a 351 from 1986. Not sure if this is zero or 28 oz balanced, either way it won't work for my engine.
