Or you could just buy mine. $3000.00 (b/o) gets you an 89 full size stock Eddie Bauer with almost everything mechanical done. Some bodywork and paint makes her look good. Or you can just get some spray on mud and cover it

Don't get me wrong they are a nice little SUV but after having a FS bronco it's kind of hard getting used to the explorer.Who knows maybe someday you'll be back on the trails with a FS bronco again.Hope you have good luck with the explorer.

Amen brother on the transition. Like going from a tank to willys. At least I spent the extra bucks and got the 4.6l V8. I wonder how one of those big "Road Armor" front bumpers would look on there. THose things are so big it would probably lift the back wheels off the ground. Look like a Pekingnese carrying a big bone. Definitely going to make some mods, but until someone creates a lift kit for 4 way indy suspension have to drive it like a station wagon.

I saw an explorer with a sweet lift yesterday, had 35's on it and they looked huge. Looked like it was sitting on 44's. I thought of you right away that thing was pretty cool looking. Not sure of the year but it looked pretty new, had a straight axleout back though.
