I went to the convenient store in the bad weather that came through here last night. Almost got stuck trying to get across the stop line leaving my neighborhood. Had to lock it in 4 low to get over the paint. Piece of crap. Just kidding. It's real pretty, but it ain't no Bronco.

Hey Yardape - thanks for the spray on mud idea, but I think I will just park the Expy in a ditch and drive the Bronco over it and tell the insurance company it was an act of God. With the winds and stuff that came through here last night I might get away with it. I mean if God is a redneck and I believe he is then I am sure he drives a Bronco.

If he actually drives a Chevy would that be considered blasphemy?

I actually checked out both, I have a ? what is FSB I've seen it mentioned in a couple of different posts?
Beausdad there's a mud puddle in Wal-mart parking lot if you think the Expo will make it!!!!! :)) :)) :)) Just playing!

Hey Mike and Tracy. In your post you referred to it as an Expo. That is what the men drive. Unfortunately I couldn't find an Expo with low miles and for the good price I got the Expy. Therefore with the money I saved buying an Explorer I went and bought me a dress to wear when I drive it. My wife is jealous because my legs look good when I climb out on to the running boards. Running Boards - sheesh

I really need to at least get a bull guard, safari rack and some nerf bars. At least then I would feel like I can wear my boots when I drive it. Definitely no chrome except what is already on it. Just going to flat black all accesories. Listen to me. I am frickin' accessorizing. HOLY CRAP! Could someone please tell me where I left my ****?

Nevermind - I found em'. The car saleslady I bought the thing from just called and said she found them laying on the graound right beside where the thing was parked in the lot. She said they must have fallen out when I stepped in after signing the paperwork.

Hey don't be so ******* yourself, Its not like your driving a minivan. Theres nothing wrong with an Explorer, as long as you also own a Bronco.

And therein lies the problem. I will only be owning an Expy. i think I will take a good picture of the Bronco and get it blown up into one of those wall decals and stick it on my garage wall. Yeah that's it. that's the ticket.

I was thinking about asking her dad if he wanted to buy it, but he is a Chevy man (poor guy). I figured at least that way I could drive when we went ot visit. It would kinda be like a conjugal visit and dirty in a different way.

Uuuuuhhhhhmmmmmm - when she goes to open the non-existent back door she may catch on. Oh yeah. When she has to go back to me helping her in might be a giveaway too. i think I will just **** it up and try to be happy. Hey at least I have a son so when the time is right I can buy another one and we can strip the interior, cover it in Rhino lining pull the top off and go get stuck.

The only question is will it be yours or his? just kidding. But that really is a good spirited way to look at it and it.

I just noticed not that long ago that in 95 the explorer not only got a facelift and new dash but the selectable 4x4 and locking hubs were eliminated, they became automatic 4x4 that engage when slight rear wheel slip is detected.Iv'e seen some 91-94 explorers lifted and off-roaded but the newer ones were intended more for city driving and the 4x4 is more for slippery roads and the occasional sand and light mud of maybe a camping trail. They wanted to make it more car-like(I believe they even added rack and pinion steering in 95) for the person that wouldn't normally drive a 4x4.You just drive it everything is done automatically no shifting a transfer case or turning or pushing buttons. My girlfriends sister has one. They are disappointing to most hard-core off-roaders.

Gee - Broncobob - Thanks for the support. I guess I may as well go get a Brazillian wax and a new wardrobe consisting of dresses and blouses. I KNOW IT WAS A MISTAKE NOW!!!!!!!! I am a day late and just a couple of dollars shorter than I was already. Stupid independent rear suspension. It is ruining everything. I have seen some tuff looking early model Expys lifted and hard-core, but like you said Broncobob, the new ones are tall station wagons with minimal ground clearance. It's okay though. I have found a bull guard and a roof rack and will be adding lights everywhere. If nothing else I will at least make it look like I go spotlighting dangit.
