I have spent the better part of two weeks looking for a lift kit and other 4wheelin' accessories for this dang '03 Explorer I bought and can't find crap. No-one makes anything for the damn thing. If I had known that I would have just bought an F250 supercrew. Explorer Forum seems to be a bunch of guys with lowered rides and big rims that are worthless. The ones who use the 4X4's for their intended purpose are all driving '01 and older. Why oh why did I buy this thing.

My Expedition has Independant rear suspension. I want to lift it before I bought it, but holy crap its like 8,000 for the lift kit

Theres a lift out there for nearly everything.....Contact Chris @ BigFoot Offroad and Performance @(573)436-2622.He knows nearly all the reps from the lift companies personally.If theres a lift out there,he will find it for ya.

Well dangit Yardape. My wife loves the stupid thing. If my wwife says," I think I would like to drive this.", then I know I messed up. She has never wanted to drive any of my rigs. I might as well get some aftermarket wood paneling and put on the stupid thing. Maybe some nice hub caps on some steelies from a 1979 Ford Country Scquire wagon would look nice on it.

By the way Yardape, Where can I see a larger picture of your rig. It looks great in that little signature photo, but I want more. I am going to have to live vicariously through you guys.

You have probably seen body lift. Those are easy to find. I am talking suspension lift for a front/rear indy suspension. Nobody makes em' I have looked at all the reputable companies and some I have never even heard of. No luck anywhere.

Trade it in! I have seen some explorers that have been lifted in that year.

The company that I found for my Expedition lift kit I think is called rize or rizen. I can't find the magazine that I found their name from. They might have a kit for yours as well cause mine has all that crappy independant too. I added a couple pics to the gallery, tryed quite a few but kept coming back saying I need to talk to admin. I will put a link to my supermotors page in my signature once I figure out how. I dont have the patience for posting one picture at a time and having them come back and not work.

mine is definately not the prettiest out there, but I own it, its paid for and I love it. I would choose to drive it over my expedition anyday

Yardape, I checked out you're pics. I think she's mighty fine. Beausdad is it to late to just keep you're bronco??? I asume you need 4 doors now. Sorry man I know nothing on the Expo.

Try a Ranger lift in the same year, they have identical IFS and leaves in rear, only concern would probably be some bracketry, find a ranger lift you like then call the brands tech support line

What are you talking about Yardape,"it ain't the most beautiful." Any rig covered in mud is beautiful. I think I am going to go find a mudpuddle this weekend and get some handfuls and just throw it at the Expy.
