that looks really good, looks about like all you would ever really need to get you through most trails and mud holes.

thanks for all the input guys! makes it all the more worth it.

unfortunately i had to hire out the job to a 4x4 shop near me. i've been too crunched for time. that warehouse you see behind my truck is the new studio we are fabricating and we are launching a new site on top of that too. so i couldnt afford the downtime and my boss needed me to use to the truck to haul. so with that and the fact that my front end suspension components were GONEtoo- it worked out for the best. my truck was only MIA for one working day. kind of sucked because i would have really loved to do it but, they did a good job. and with their help and the forum's help i have learned a ton about the suspension.

havent noticed too much of a power loss yet though. maybe i need to get her on the highway?

Looks awesome, However I still think you should get a set of 36" Super Swamper TSL's. That would really set off the look of your truck. Once you get used to your truck a the novelty wears off a bit I am sure you will agree. I do have a picture of a Black Bronco with the TSL's if think you might be interested. Not trying to bash or anything, your truck looks awesome, but check them out you will love them I swear.

yeah i was torn between the mickeys and the swampers. i just chose the mickeys because i loved the look of them and i've always wanted to own a set since my younger days and never had. for now i'll drive them till they're dead and then check out other tires. i just dropped about $4000 on the kit, install, tires and front end parts and rebuild. to me thats a big chunk of dough. so for now i'm taking a breather- maybe do a few "little things" like carpet and seats. while i reload for the next biggie.

i think i'm going to skip ahead on my list and switch out or rebuild the engine next in a few months- for reliability purposes. then after that regear and tranny. the goal is to be done with my list by next christmas. we'll see how close i can get.

Your truck looks awsome! Been considering the same kit for my own ride, looks like I'm sold. That will be my first project when I get back from winning freedom for Iraq.

Those are definatley a better on road choice, I hear you on the fundage thing, I have been trying to get my truck lifted for a couple years now, as soon as the money is saved up then something else happens and it gets spent. Like now for instance, have the money but the engine went sour on me. Wish I could just do everything all at once and be done with it. I have those Baja Claws on my 3/4 ton. Paid 300 bucks for them and they surprised the heck out of me. You can really feel them work in deep snow, My truck was buried in about three feet of snow 2 weeks ago, and my Bronco was beside it. I had a heck of a time in 4 wheel drive with the Bronco to get out, snow plow made a huge pile at the end of my driveway. The 3/4 ton drove out in 2 wheel drive with minimal trouble. Had my trailer attached to it, needed 4wd on the road though to pull the trailer on ice. And mine are only 33's so yours will kick a$$. Time enjoy the fruits of your labour, You deserve it.

i saved balls out for this, brown bagged it when the guys at work ate out every day. didnt buy anything i didn't need and stuffed every extra penny i had into the fund. little things like that add up fast.
