Your truck looks awsome! Been considering the same kit for my own ride, looks like I'm sold. That will be my first project when I get back from winning freedom for Iraq.
again if you get the rc lift kit i recommend going to the site i purchased mine at and deal with the owner ron. he saved me about $150 over anyone else and he also did the same for another member here (deepbass who ordered a rc 4" kit). and he also gave me a code for an extra additional $35 off for any forum members that buys a 4" or 6" suspension lift from him .

go to his site and add the kit to cart and add coupon and calculate shipping THEN go to rough country direct site and do the same, you'll see a pretty big difference in price.

link: http://store.4wheelingplus.com/ coupon code A35OFF .

rides nice. suspension is stiff and smooth if that makes sense. what i mean to say is i'm not bouncing all over like before because my old rear shocks were shot. i do notice a lttile more slop in my steering now. but, knew i needed to replace steering box which i'll probably do in a few weeks. guess the height and tires make it a bit more evident. took a couple days to get used to feeling the tire tread grind to a halt against the pavement when slowing to a stop at lights etc. and my turning radius obviously is not QUITE as sharp- cant lock the wheels all the way like before but maybe that can be remedied w/ new rims or a steering stop. after a couple days though you get used to it. first day or so i was crawling around corners.

just an FYI, make sure to inspect your frame around the steering box for cracks. with a lift and big tires, it's even more prone to break. i reinforced mine with angle iron once, but ended up replacing the whole frame on my 93 f-150 when i had 38.5's on it. probably a good idea just to keep an eye on it, from my past experiences.

I'd also advise to watch out the first few times you exit the Bronco with the new lift. The extra height can throw you to the ground when you step out not thinking. It's never happened tp me, of course.... (lying)

LOL :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />. it actually happened to me the first time i got out of her. i've had those side steps for awhile and never used them. mainly put them on for my girlfriend to get in and out on the rare occassion she got in at STOCK HEIGHT. you can bet i use them now. speaking of girlfriends- funny she doesn't seem quite as impressed as i am with the lift :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />.

PS- when is the album feature going to be active again? my ride has changed drastically over the 8 months i've owned her.

Hey man your bronco is SICK!!! You should invest in some wheel spacers to set your wheels out just a little bit more. I have them on mine and they make a HUGE difference.

not totally decided on the exterior color yet. really considering metallic military green- like some of the newer ford trucks have/ had. but, i may stick to the original color but pearled. i have a weakness for darker colors but have learned from my older trucks takeing them on numerous hunting trips that seeing all the scratches kills me. so i may stick with the YY white. but again pearl it. may hold up better under trail conditions. or at least not be SO obvious when it gets scratched which of course it will get scratched to ****.

thats a tough choice there man. pearl white wouldnt look bad at all on a bronco, then again if you go with that dark green, that would just be down right ****. theres gotta be a dark color out there that wont show scratchest and what not too well.

yeah i'm not sure yet on it. i may end up going whit the YY white which i like because it's nots PURE white kinda off whiteish. which is the color it is now which i think looks really nice. well, yours is probably YY white too rght? look inside the door jam.

but i've always wanted that military/olive green metallic too ever since i first saw it. i think the first ford "truck" i ever saw it on was a explorer sport trac. and even though i really dont like those trucks the color blew me away. another issue is the engine compartment because engine is next on my list and there's no way i can afford to paint the truck at the same time. at least if i pearl the white i can get away with leaving the engine area unpearled. unless i pull the engine to get it painted. then i could go either way.

jeez i dont know it's one of those things that has me really confused. i'll figure it out when i get there. i need to start getting quotes on paint i guess and maybe there s a small chance i can hold out on the engine swap and get it painted at the same time while the engine is out. thats a long shot though.

******* If you want a dark color and no scratches, have a look at Durabak. Thats what I am painting mine with, its wicked stuff and not too expensive. Its like rhino liner but they are leaning more towards bodies now rather than just bedliners. They have textured and smooth paint. Personally I love the textured look.
