I was replacing the front wheel bearings in my 95 bronco. When I pulled the hub off, I found what appeared to be a broken brass bushing. I can't find this bushing anywhere on a schematic, and I'm wondering if it's supposed to be a part of the hub? Thanks for your help.

Take a look @ the 2 Automatic Locking Hub, Dana 44 diagrams I have here:

one is for 3 ***** covers, the other for 5 *****

95 & 96 used the new 3 ***** hub design that differs from the earlier years.
