Pretty straight forward..... 1 banana job.

Rent a pitman arm puller fr. AZone or the like. (& socket if needed)

Park wheels straight ahead.

Remove steer. shaft fr. box....should telescope up out of way.

Pull pitman arm (notice flat spot on arm & spline)

OOPS, remove hoses (high & low pressure)

unbolt box...careful, pretty heavy.

Reverse for install....

& torque pit. arm to spec.

Ah yes....

Those very important hoses..... use a "good" wrench so's not to ruin the fittings.

Plug so you don't loose all the fluid fr. the P/S pump.

Some boxes come already primed... if not, cycling & adding fluid my be req.

Does the orig. hose/fittings ***** into place...? (on the new box)

If so, there's bound to be a "hose maker" in your neighborhood..!

We have one here called "House of Hose"

They can match any hose & fitting WHILE YOU WAIT...!

Just have to bring your old fittings with you to match-up.

I think they can also "crimp" a new hose on old fittings if need be....assuming they're still usable.

Check the Yellow Pages...
