Well I,ll find one some place--see if I don,t, If you have a Harbor Freight near you. They sale a epoxy --it comes with 2 tubes and cos tabout $2. I,ve used it and it drys fast and you can file or sand it inro shpe.
Thanks yet again Johnny.
I've been to a harbor freight (when I was down there for a race), we don't have them. We have princess auto's (same store)
I got some really good epoxy on amazon. (It was 20 bucks) , but the bottles are really big, It works on nearly everything. (I even used it on a table top I was building)
Plus, Its made here, (not China), so it actually works. (I used it when I was modifying my instrument cluster)
Cheers

That,s good to hear. This stuff I got came in 2 small tubes and you mix it. It sets up in about 5 minutes. I even used it on a gun stock. Mixed some paint in it to blend in the wood color and it done really good.

I wasdown their last year and his neighbor told me the snakes are the least to worry about. Their was 3 or 4 bears and some with cubs hangin around their. Its out in the country.

Yes I will. If I,m not mistaken. He had a couple of Bronco 2,s and a couple of full size ones. The 78-79 was tore up bad and still had some useable parts. I got NOTTAVEG a couple of parts for his bronco and they worked out good for him.. It still had the cap with good side windows. I,d like to get the tailgate window. Just in case I might need it later on. The lower part of the tailgate was rusted bad, No motor or transmission. He had some other ford trucks in the 70,s. More then likely I find a horn button too. I walked upon a fawn deer their last year.Still had spots on it.

I don't have anything period correct, but I do have one or two Ford badged horn covers from retro steering wheel kits for a '68 and a '73 Mustang I tarted up for a customer a few years back. I will have to dig them out, and not sure where to start as my shop has moved since then and much of that stuff is somewhere inside two separate storage units.

I do know this though: These retro kits were produced by Grant, and the horn buttons are the same style as your more common aftermarket Grant steering wheels. The only real difference is the wheel stylings and Blue Oval badging. (I have these left over because customer chose the pony emblem buttons included in the kits)

Let me know if that common Grant style button for sure will not work and I'll not go hunting. But if it will or might, it's on, and if you want, I'm happy to gift them to a man who's skills and knowledge amaze me week after week.

Even if he is of the land "of hoary nights, where lonely men struggle to keep their fires lit and their cabins warm"
