Need 4 barrel Intake Manifold!

Hey guys,

I was wondering if anyone has a 4 barrel manifold sitting around for a 1979 Custom with a 400M. I believe the 351M manifold since they are practically the same motor, but have differnt stroke lengths. Let me know and we can talk about it. Thanks alot!

I don't have a manifold for you but as far as the 351M/400's being interchangable, yes, they are. Everything interchanges between the two (except of course for the rods, but you *can* swap in a set of 400 rods if you also swap the crank and then of course your 351M becomes a 400) so for all intents & purposes you can consider the two of them to be the same engine until you get down to the reciprocating assembly.

Thanks for the post. Yeah I figured they were pretty much the same. I am just looking for an intake manifold becuase I have a holley 4 barrel that is sitting in my garage crying to be used. An additional bonus is that the electric choke on my motorcraft 2 barrel just went out, so that gives me another reason to put a four barrel. HAHA Gotta love it!
