I was reading an article in Petersons 4 wheel and offroad, When they were building that Toyota named Clampy. If you can find it, I will look also to see if I can dig it out of my thousands of magazines. They bought some tube doors from a company that I cannot remember the name of. But I e-mailed them and asked if they make a set for a Bronco. The cost was 350.00. If you can find it or a member reading this has the article and can point you to the company then thats the company I would recommend to you. Happy hunting, Good luck.

I have that issue and can look it up, or you can go to their website www.4wheeloffroad.com Edit: It's "Advanced Offroad Research", and there's also Schaffer's that make tube doors.

I don't think any company makes tube doors for the fullsize Bronco, so I built my own out of the outside spare tire rack. I posted a thread about it recently if you search, or I can try to find it. I also have pics at superford.org under the 86 Tuff Bronc gallery, JSM84

Here's the thread, with a link to Miesk5 Homepage and more door links:

Heres the link for the company that built clampy's doors. I have been in contact with them and they do make the doors for a Bronco. Even if it not listed, they told me they make them, and they are 350.00

Thanks JSM84 I knew someone had to have seen the arcticle

I'm not quite sure how to post pictures on this sight yet but we will see what happens with this link... [-o<

java script:popupWindow('http://shaffersoffroad.com/catalog/popup_image.php?pID=538')

Ummmm I guess nothing........

Well I don't know how to do it. Anyways the sheet metal is formed to fit the Bronco body lines like these ones fit the Toyota.

Just need the img tags on your url, or click the insert image icon when writing your message.

I found a pic of my door on Mark's (Skittles) Bronco at a run this Summer. I've since added some braces inside and fabbed a latch to the stock striker. A spare tire carrier costs about $40 in a junk yard:
