So I ordered the Warn Premium hubs and in my search I came across these hub fuses, http://www.jamesduff.com/eb/warn.html

Anyone heard of these, or have any thoughts on them. I really want to maintain my ttb and not break anything, because I'd rather not pay to replace any ttb components, and save it all for the SAS. Also what about that hub tool, does it look worthwhile?

They look like they would be a good buy. But you only have 33's dont you? You really dont need them unless your a complete maniac off road. I say get them if you have a spool or something up front.

You don't need them with your tire size. They are used to save axle shafts with large tires. I gave them a try when I was running 38's and breaking shafts. The fuses broke like twigs!

Ok sounds good, besides looking at the fuse, it looks like that could put metal fragments in an area where metal fragments don't belong.

as long as its all properly installed and you keep everything maintained (supposed to re-grease after every wheeling trip) you will be good to go

I do it approx once a month during the heavy wheeling season. I always end up in deep water, I hate water but it happens.
