Hey all,

The last two days I was "working" (aka wheeling) out near Banning/Beaumont area of SoCal with triple digits. The FSB did great, even with AC running. I just installed a trans cooler because I knew I would be ******* the rig while working out there. After the work day, I wanted to check fluids in the car and it took forever to cool off, even with the hood up. How the link below if applying the vent mod to a racecar. The FSB is far from that, but I wanted to see what kind of response I got regarding if this mod should happen in order to bring in the most cold air as possible. I already have a FIPK and this rig is my daily driver and weekend warrior, so I don't want to ugly it up by taking the front fenders off. I'm just inquiring on how to bring better engine compartment circulation into this equation.

Thanks all.

I have a "non functioning" cowl hood on my truck and it seems to help let it cool a bit. by non functioning I mean all it does is le the air flow past the engine and out threw the top strait into my windshield and over the truck... kind of funny when you say it like that...
