:) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> My 77 is a great rig and I have owned it 17 years. It isn't running quite as well as it was and I was wondering about upgrading the electrical system to one of those multifire electronic ignitions by jacobson. Any experience out there?

Mine ran a bit smoother with the MSD but hardly noticable. Could be the carb. The other thing about older engines is we used to run leaded gas. Now with unleaded gas causes more heat and the valves end up recessing up inside the heads causing leaks. This will make you think you have a low idle miss or ignition problem (I know) when its just the valves leaking. Take the heads off and look. I had to get case hardened valve seats and it ran like a million bucks afterwards.
