Custom made Dashboard

Can any one tell me some ideas on how to build a custom metal dashboard for my 83 bronco.

What's wrong with the original? or is this just something you want to do? If you go to a custom car show they often have vendors who deal in custom dash materials. I once was thinking of putting on in my 83 modeled after an airplane dash.

yea i wanted to put new guages and have less stuff like the ac vents and all the. Kind of like a racing dashboard. You kno what i mean?
