    Quick question, does it just drop off and die or does it stall out or backfire? There might also be a chance it could be the Tach Tester on the ignition coil, I had a 1979 bronco that would start and run down the highway at 45 mph, you could take it directly to 50 mph and it would just go stone...

    Your master cylinder is for brakes, your bronco is starving of gas. Either a gas line is clogged, your tank needs to be cleaned, or filter is clogged.

    No big deal, most people scratch their head when I tell them about it to. Only reason it is on there is I cracked my 2bbl carb when it fell off my table in my shop and I had the 4bbl handy.

    2bbl(intake) to 4bbl (carb) adapter, it can also be reversed to have 4bbl (intake) to 2bbl (carb). Here it is : http://performanceparts.com/part.php?partID=361 got mine at Oreilly's though.

    I swapped on the 2bbl intake because gas prices going up, I have a 351w 4bbl in my shed for when they go down. As far as the trim piece and signal lever I'll have to hold off til the first of next month.

    I wouldn't know about a 96 as I haven't had one but I had a 460 in an F250 do this to me one time and found I had some split plug wires, and as far as plug wires I use Bosch, Oreilly branded Omnispark, or Accel. And as far as being protected from heat summit racing sells spark plug wire...
