Well bought a 1979 F150 Custom last night, 1 owner the guy bought it off of his dad's dealership new in Feb 1979, originally had a 351m it finally gave out so he rebuilt a 400 and swapped it in it's place, 4spd on the floor, 1 Lariat badge on the glovebox door(hmmmmmmmmm), 1976 Torino GT nodular cast iron rear end with 2.25 gears. It's been sitting since '05 but starts in 3 cranks or less, it's gonna need one heck of a tune-up, a good carb cleaning, new bench seat, and a cobbled up jumble of wires fixed. Picking it up Saturday, supposed to have less than 50k on the rebuilt motor, and the only rust through is the driverside rear wheelwell.

I thought it was, gonna focus on getting it running good enough to go 50 miles home, then go for Daily Driver, and pull that nodular out and stick a 3.50 geared third member in its place.
