A body lift lifts the body away from the frame, so from the side if not done correctly you see the frame and a huge gap to the body. Also with the body lift many experience overheating problems due to the radiator being lifted as well, requiring creative cutting and fitting of the fan shroud. This problem is solved by installing an electric fan for best results. I have a 3 inch body lift and I got away with cutting the shroud to fit. Also the collapseable steering column on my rig is stretched as far as it can go to make up for the lift, making steering a bit sloppy, Four inches may require a piece welded in. (Mine should as well for that matter). My tranny has linkage to the shifter and that is bottomed right out so anything larger than 3 inches would require an extension welded on as well. A '95 I do believe has a cable linkage for the transmission so this shouldn't be a problem. The transfer case shifter might have to be modified, Mine the guy that installed the kit before I bought it left this alone now the shifter boot is smashed from shifting into 2hi from 4hi. My last transfer case lost 4hi I suspect it was because the shifter wasn't always all the way into 2hi. As long as the guy you are buying this from addressed these issues there shouldn't a problem, I'd make a list of things to check from the list I gave you and see if it was installed correctly. I've fixed all the mickey mouse rigging on my truck except the steering, Nothings really hard to fix just a pain in the but when it could have been done correctly from the start. A body lift is pretty much the poor mans way of lifting your truck. The best way is a properly installed suspension lift by far.

Hope this helps

This sounds like the guy with the jeep that can "pull" my Bronc' around. Stock drivetrain with exception of 4.88 gears and 38" tires. Oh, his snorkle, 1000 lights and light bars, and 9000lb winch gives him over 500 ftlbs of torque... I think I'm scared?? :))
