Yep. The price was good and the performance comparable to some $80 wires I was looking at too.

According to this thread the only one working on or having fun with their Bronco is me. Hello out there!

Wanna put this here for any body interested. Most the photos of this that go into my Bronco go on to my instagram. Check it weekly and you'll be kept up to date with the things I work on.

I also cleaned my throttle body and since then had a high idle issue, I guess something happened to my IAC in the process because I could get a good idle with it unplugged better then with it plugged in. I try'd cleaning it many times but the effort was in vane. Now I have a new IAC and very thing works much better now. Talk about a self inflected wound.

Finally got a nice day to work on the Bronco, but not what I had planned. Lost my lug nut some where so I had to make that a priority.

MGdZFSi.jpg

Went ahead and replaced all 20 with new ones from LesSchawb.

Done.

Who knows at this point, could of been random and come loose, could of been stolen. When replacing the nut I just wanted all of my lugs to match and the Local LesSchawb had these fancy ones for the right price so I went for it. And I made sure these were tight.

Speaking of Fancy things added this too,

Yo,

Still looks GOOD  Skitter!

We missed a total when tall pines snapped in last Northeaster. Pulled some of the branches off.  They're laying in the snow, rest are pulled on lawn.

Pesky trees. If they arn't dripp'n sap on the paint they're try'n to take ya out the old fashioned way. Glad the Bronco is ok.

...

Was almost 70°F when I got home from work today. Thought I'd celebrate by changing the oil.

yo,

My much better half drove the Bronco to shop, but CEL turned on.  Since a good-guy old time Ford mechanic was on the way, she stopped by.  He scanned, found a misfire ; and a large squirrel nest on driver side valve cover; and chewed fi wire; and chewed connector.  Since squirrel appetizers include Ford fi connectors, he keeps them in stock. Have to spray concentrated peppermint oil around area again.

Here is former chewed fi wiring will snap pics of same area when weather clears.

Do you know how hard it is to find a extra long T40 to take the intake off the Bronco? I spent almost 2 hours driving from one store to the other looking for a long T40.

G6jAfoU.jpg

So thats the only reason the intake isn't off yet.

Yo Skitter,

My pal missaug said, "took the torx bit out of the 3/8 fitting and found a 1/4 socket that it would fit into and used 1/4 extension. I put a dab of silicon in the 1/4 socket to keep the torx from falling out."

Removal, Upper Intake Tip & Tool in an 86 5.0; "...This is the Torx T-40 you're going to need to get that pesky inner center ***** out with to remove the EFI's upper intake. Trouble is you'll never get that 3/8" drive socket between the runners, with the space the way it is. I just drift the center part of the T-40 out. It happens to be 1/4" hex. Now it's seperated from it's 3/8" host housing. I use contact cement to glue the T-40 bit into a 1/4" drive 1/4" sized socket and then work with several 1/4" rachet extensions, which pass through the intake runners no trouble at all..." Source: by Sixlitre (Malcolm H, Eddie Bauer)
