Ive given up on my headlight switch for the time being (meaning im being lazy) and i was messing around at my parents house and my hubs are VERY hard to engage to the point where i cant fully lock the passenger side. Should i just take the selector part off clean it and **** it a tad or should i be taking the whole assembly out and cleaning it or is this a bad sign?

yo,

Yes inspect it and clean/and as you wrote lightly ****.

I place a light anti-seize coating to the rubber o-ring that is on the back of the hublock. Ck this O ring for damage that can cause your problem (lets in ***** water, small bugs).

btw here is Warn's Install Instr.
