PROBLEM ONE

I recently purchased a '95 Bronco XLT. It is a nice truck, and is perfect for my job. The only problem it has is that the Cruise Control will not engage. I press the ON button, then press the SET button at the speed I want, but the Cruise does not kick in.

My question is, is this a common problem with known Starting Points for repair activity, or is this something that is not shared, and I have to figure it out on my own?

Are there any schematics anywhere that will help in diagnosing the problem?

PROBLEM TWO

when I start going from a standing stop, I get a clunk, and I get another clunk as I approach a full stop -- as I attain full stop, actually. My gut instinct is that I have troubles with motor or transmission mounts, any thoughts?

problem # one. some one has disconnected the pressure sensor on the master cylinder. this is part of that hudge recall that ford has. leave it unplugged untill u get the recall done. make an oppoiment at your local ford dealer. it will be done under warrante.

problem# 2 if it was like mine the rear driveshaft slip joint needs to be relubed. you will need to mark the driveshaft so it may go back in the same manner that it came off and undo the ties around the rubber slip joint then use a heavy grease on the splines and reinstall. should take care of your problem. make sure u set the e-brake and put something behind the wheels as it will roll. u will need a 12 point 12mm socket or wrench to undo the bolts. make sure their tight when u reinstall them u don't want them coming loose.
