I discovered that my 76 bronco's steering gearbox is moving when I turn the wheel back and forth.

This is going to a big part of my wandering problem.

So.....of all the bronco supply websites, who has the best gearbox box brace? It seems that nearly every website has a different design. I am curious to hear what people have used and how much of an improvement there was in the driveability. Right now 40-45 mph is about as fast as I dare go.

I do not plan on doing any rock crawling. I would like to drive it down the road and not be worried about being pulled over for a DUI.

What exactly is the prob. ..???

Did you tighten the bolts..? (should be three.)

Did you look to see if the frame is cracked..? Or maybe the box itself....

A brace may mask/band-aid the prob.

IMHO.,

No rock'n & with your set-up.., you shouldn't need a brace unless maybe the frame is damaged., or attach bolts are damaged.
