starter spinning but tests out good

Please help!!!

I have an 88 b2 automatic 2.9

Spinning starter

Used to catch when motor manually turned with tiretool now NOTHING

Replaced 3x

Replaced batt and ig switch

Tested all starters off car sounds good

Place on nose over end of bendix ground down

Can crawl under loosen up move towards a little it will catch but have to tighten back up so won't restart I think I pray it's something small but every MAN lol inmylife saying flywheel but teeth from what I can see with mirror look good

Hi Crissy..,

We can assume you're various starters are, in fact, for an "automatic" transmission..., not a stick-shift...?

Many Auto trans. have an inspection plate or a small, bolted on pan that, when removed, allow visual inspection

of the flexplate (flywheel).

Not sure what this means..? Do you mean cross shorting the starter terminals..?

Can't visualize this as well...?
