Hi All,

I have steering wheel off (dash renovation).

The head of the steering column has a copper spring loaded pin - which clearly is supposed to depress and make a connection.

What is it for ?

I am assuming its part of the original Horn mech ??

My Grant Wheel has a circular copper back plate which will fully depress this spring pin when Wheel is fully tightened - is that correct ??

I can add a pic if this sounds like nonsense

Monza.
