I have seen people have problems with there power windows ranging from no power at the motor to motor makes noise but the window doesn't move.
I have found a cheap fix for the ladder.
There is a guy on eBay that sells a "POWER WINDOW MOTOR REPAIR KIT".
I have used these kits on my bronco and it fixed the problem perfectly.
These kits replace the nylon bushings that seem to always shatter, crumble apart, self destruct, etc.
Some people say to use steal nuts in place of these bushings. That may work but if you are that far into the repair why not use the right parts?
I am not selling these nor do I know the guy personally but I am very happy with the results.
If you find that this is your problem, do a search on eBay for POWER WINDOW MOTOR REPAIR KIT and you should find what you need.
