Lubricate Speedo cable?

Hi,

Just got a speedometer cable from Bronco Graveyard and it tells me to lubricate the entire cable core, but CAUTION - NOT the ends.

But all I can get to are the ends....can someone point out what I'm not seeing :blink: ?

Y, called BG, but either too early for them or they are not in today.

You should be able to pull the cable out of the casing from end but I can't remember which. Once you have it out, you can **** it up.
