My ‘96 Eddie Bauer came with keyless entry per the attached window sticker. However it doesn’t work. All I’ve done is put a new battery in the remote. I’m not good at understanding wiring diagrams so I’m wondering if there’s anything obvious I could check?
I’ve attached a photo of the fob wondering if it looks like what came with and the window sticker that shows it’s part of the package.

I think the black box for the keyless entry was behind the paseenger side kick panel. Might make sure it is still there and plugged in.

If at any time it caused problems They might have just cut the power to it.

Hey scubs,
The remote looks right.
Try a reprogram.
Cycle the ignition on- off - on 8 times ending in on. (Fairly quickly 1-2 cycles/sec)
If the module is alive, the locks should lock and unlock once, indicating program mode. If it does, press any button on the remote and the locks should cycle once indicating a learned FOB.
When you shut the ign off, the locks will cycle again, indicating programming exit.
Good luck
Post any issues and we can talk you through it.
Cheers
