I just got an offer of $800 for my 89 eddie bauer bronco. It has a smashed rear window, there are no brakes due to a broken line, The tailgate is completely rusted at the bottom. The body has some rust. The frame and suspension are extremely rusted and its flaking off. some parts you can push your finger through the frame. The gas guage doesn't work. And the rear abs light is on. and the passehger side mirror is broken. But on the good side, the motor runs strong and only has 71000 miles and the interior looks brand new. It has a newer exhauat. There are no dents and few scratches, 4wd works and everything else seems to be in good working order. The guy acted like he was winning the lottery so I'm wondering if I should raise the price? What do you guys think? <_<

sorry about the long post. |-)

Awesome  ! I wasn't sure cause I had like 12 people call about it all excited cause it was so cheap. E ven after telling them all the sh*t wrong with it no one cared. Thats awesome I can get that much from this guy, it just sucks cause I know he would've paid more. Oh well, I need the money and was ready to just have it junked the other day cause I couldn't get it started. Nice. Hopefully he shows on saturday with the rest of the money. :)>-

Just because you can raise the price, don't thats not ethical. Plus, you don't want to stop a sale.

yo, GL!

Did the buyer give a down payment (thinking buyer did from what you wrote)?

If not, watch out for when buyer comes; had too mnay buyers who came for last 5 vehicles we sold and then started low balling..such as offerring $300 for a Kelley Black Book price on $2800.00

The truck is gone, The guy came with 800 in cash and never tried to argue about it. He barely even looked the truck over, just walked arond it twice. I'm actually sad to see it go but now I have 800 bucks for working on one of my other cars. Thanks everybody for the help. :))
