I can't disingage the front left Man. locking hub why??

I just got the truck alligned and the guy told me the left hub is always engaged and not sure why... i did the wheel bearings the other week races and all... i have the aftermarket "lockout" hub assemblys on my 87 and both switches on the hubs turn easily but the right wheel it spins free but the left turns the shaft... he said they both sould spin free is that right??

Yes, they should both spin free. Did you have any problems, getting that side back together?

Sounds like it is stuck for sure. Take the hub off and make sure it is installed right. How much grease did you put in it? The locking hub mechanism should only be lightly greased. If you put too much, it may not be able to retract when you put it in the "free" position.
