Hard starting 87 Bronoc

Hi all, thanks for help on last post but still have problems. Its a 87 bronco 302 OD automatic I have to jiggle the shifter around to get it started ( no power at starter until I jiggle the shifter so problem must be some were in columne ?) need some help thaks joe b.

Check;

shift rod adjusting nut at point A, Figs. 3 and 4

loose nuts/bolt @ bell crank, and other places shown in Dustin's diagrams...
