Anyone have an idea or rough estimate how long (timewise) they can wheel on a full tank? Or how long they can cruise?

And is there any way to maybe run duel tanks, like in the F series? Or is that impossible/improbable? Thirty-three gallons doesn't always feel like a confident amount when one dissapears into the wild for a few hours of rough play.

I could always just take the cap off and run two 55 gallon drums, Mad Max style...

I have a 100.00 tank in my truck, I can wheel all day and never gets below 3/4. Never had a worry with fuel, I also carry 2 20 Liter Gerry cans just in case

30 gallons x 10 mpg = 300 miles. At 10 mph, = 30 hours... To save space, I'm using a 15 gal. fuel cell. JSM84

On a recent 4 day trip, I was wheeling about 6-8 hours a day with two people in the truck and probably around 200 lbs of tools, spare parts, and a cooler. Came in each afternoon with around 3/4 tank left. I have a 33 gallon tank.

I've done some research, found out I have more fuel capacity than most other trucks, and that, gerry cans are indeed illegal around here. But I've put the fear of running out of fuel a long ways away from asphault to sleep. My 33 beats my friend's 30, if even just a little. ^_^ /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Well it all depends on how fast you go & how much fun you are having, as walking nevers seems like a good choice I get gas anytime I find it.
