Well you don,t mention -what kind of transmission you have. If you are talking about a standard transmission---a 390 will bolt up--IF you use the 390 bell houseing. You will also have to use the 390 engine mounts and drill a hole into the frame mount.When you lower the 390 you will be able to mark the hole(with the 390 moto mounts on. You will also have to take a piece of angle iron and make you a mount for the clutch rod assembly--( the part that goes from the frame to the engine.) I done the swap and its a easy job.
