well after an earlier discussion regarding swapping out my 3 speed to an auto-i have decided to swap a c6 transmission. a mechanic i know came across a 94' f250 that was being junked-engine seized, he took the tranny, flex plate, throwdown rod, linkage, and the brace(damn description eluding me) that holds it in....he also took the driveshaft. he tells me all are in excellent condition and that he paid $200, i know i am missing floor shifter, cooling radiator and i think a adaptor for the transfer? anything else i'm missing? the mechanic has done alot of transmission work and he is confident the swap will go w/o a hitch....and he is very reasonable.

I think you should talk to James Duff in Tenn. --- also., Advanced adaptors in Cal.Seems it was the C-6 that req. a body lift...they will know at Duffs
Thanks -always a big help.....I did a little more research on the c6, and I discovered that c6 come in 2 forms, 1 for small block and 1 for larger...pretty sure that the c6 from this f250 might not fit, bell housing wont match...still working on this, worst case he can sell the tranny and I end up finding another, would I need a lift with a c4?
