I have an 86 b2 with 240 k on it. While driving home today I started losing power. I looked down at the oil gauge and it just dropped to below low! I pulled over and checked the oil and it was way above the max mark?? I coutinued home and slowly it kept going slower and slower. I pulled over and let it sit for 30 mins then made it the rest of the way home. What is going on?? Any advice would be much appreciated!

Smell the oil, make sure its not getting gas in it, that would be bad. If theres way too much oil, it would slow down the crankshaft due to cutting through the oil, causing a major loss in power
