On my 79 Bronco a previous owner installed a 77 and earlier style power steering pump. Has worked fine but with 35's it is wearing out. Does anyone know if the mounting bracket, pulley or pulley shaft diameter, hose fittings, etc are the same for original 79 style pump? Just trying to figure out if I need to look for additional parts before I buy the 79 pump. Or another direction, anyone know any pressure specs or anything else that might make keeping to 77 style worth while. Thanks!
