Check out the troubleshooting links inthe Tech Articels forum. Might be iether a relay or electrical problem, or internal to the t-case shift selector.

yea that motor can be a pain, i used to have it and i ended up switching everything over to a manual transfer case and its so much better, check your buttons in your dash. Mine wouldnt come out of 4 low one day so i took the buttons out and found they were green with corrosion, after i cleaned them up it worked fine again, just look at the obvious with that stuff, the push button 4wd system is fairly simple, goodluck

Yes I thought of going to manual case but it is getting pricey with the new tires & wheels .I need the wire colors to find out how to wire this up.I see all these tech notes but no actual wire colors to make this work.there has to be someone out there who can help me out.

you can keep your same tires and wheels if you change over to a manual transfer case.

Look through Miesk5's Homepage, or the link I posted in the Tech Articles to the University of Maryland. Even though that one is for Explorer models, it has good info on the wiring and colors and such. MAybe Miesk5 will add some info, too. JSM84
