Replacing heater hose or switching hose on heater core with less trouble

You can save yourself alot of trouble and aggervation . Get 2 cut off valves. Put them in where they are easy to reach. If a leak occurs all you have to do is turn the valve off and when you make the repair . Open the valve back up. They are also good for when you replace the hoses,heater core or during an emergency if one should blow a hose. Also when you need to flush the cooling system. Both should be left in.

Gotta fresh engine. Wanna flush heater core only. Thought bout this kinda thing but I'll jus get the new fangled metal splice (right OD for the 5/8th ID) and connect an ol sump pump, pour in the coolant system flus & run it some...for three sixty I can get a permanent "flush'n fill" (plastic) from prestone (never use Walmart, Amazon, I hate the big giants - Bezos, Waltons). Using silly cone for the hoses, not in yet, "This i'll B easy", Chad sez. (famous last wrds...
