Hoping to find the help I need guys and gals. I have a '66 and swaped in a C4 and mated to my Stock dana 20 case (freshly rebuilt) with an Advanced adapters kit.
My tranny fluid is going into my trasfercase. I have spoke to few places and I have replaced the seal in the housing and it is still going through. I don't know what to do now that I have all this money in the setup. I did notice on the original Dana 20 coupler the accepts the shaft from the C4 has a tiny tiny tiny pin size hole machined into the base of it about where the seal would be. Does any one have a stock dana 20 apart that they could confirm this is the way it should be?
Has anyone ever had this kind of fluid problem besides me?
One last note: I did the required shortening of the transfercase coupler like needed but also had to shorten the new transmission shaft in the kit to keep it rom bottoming out inside the coupler and allow everything to mate together.
Looking for any help. Please I have to get this thing on the road to take some trips not just drive around the neighborhood.
