Hello All,
First time posting here. I just found this forum and it seam that you all are very knowledgeable and helpful. I hope you can help me with this noob question. (Sorry not pic just yet. I will try to update my auto sig with truck stats when I get a chance).
Also I am a complete idiot when it comes to fixing cars. That was one of the reasons I got he bronco. I thought it would be easy to learn how to fix it.
So far it:
Bronco 1
Me 0.
I have an 88 Bronco with a 351w. When started when cold or warm that RPMs keep jumping up. When driving and letting off on the gas it starts to lurch. When letting off the gas, costing or idling check engine like also comes on. I hooked up an error reader to it and got error code that indicted the O2 and TP sensors had issues. After replacing the O2 sensor that error stopped. Now I am just getting the code for the TP sensor. I went and pickup and new TP sensor and I am having problems replacing it. It looks relatively easy but how do you get underneath the carb to place it. For the life of me I can
