to somg or not to smog?

Hello All. My name is ken and i'm new to the forum here.

Anyway I have a '75 bronco. 302v8 with a 3 speed manual tran. It's been sitting in the orange grove since '95. Time to get it goin' again. Want to let the daughter drive it to school.

I live in california and the bronco came with the smog stuff on it. Should I put it back or leave it off so I can put preformance parts on it? Any other advice!

Most ditch it but you can leave most of it in place in case you change you mind or move where its required.
