Tailgate help-Window won't go all the way up!

Ok, we've got a new motor in the gate, but the glass still stops about 2" short of the top. The glass is from a 79 (the original glass was broken). It appears the tracks are lined up correctly, I don't think there is really much adjustment possible on them though. We didn't have any issues when we replaced the gate/glass on our 93, so I can't think of a reason for this. I was glad to get glass in there to keep the water out and dry up the carpet (the previous owner just left it open to the rain and the carpet was sopping) and now it's letting water in still!!! Any thoughts, opinions, ideas??

the only thing I can think of is the regulator arm is not set properly. try setting the gear teethe all the way to the end and see what happens. if it is anything like the ones in the passenger and driver's side that can make a difference.

Looks like it was two things-the regulator needed adjustment and the glass is apparently different from 78/79-80-96. Cant wait to get this thing on the road so we can take it OFF the road, lol.
