tail gate glass headache

I reciently baught a 78 bronco.. the tailgate was trashed so i found a deal on one off of an 86 model.. the tail gate fit fine but the glass is a different shape after the 80 and up models... can i have the old style glass put in this new tailgate or do i have to find a newer canopy??? and will they fit the older style??

i would go with buying the right glass for it and i am sure you can find some on broncograveyard.com i haven't checked though.

Tailgates the same, glass is diffferent, your 78 glass should fit the 86 gate.

The 80 up roof will not fit the 78/79 body.
