There really is no easy way or hard way. Well maybe if you compare using power tools or hand tools. The only really easy way is to pay someone to do it. A friend of mine wanted to get a 6 inch lift installed, he went to a shop and they wanted $1000.00 I told him that was a good price. He didnt want to pay that because he wanted me to put it in for him.

And thats Canadian so maybe its a bit cheaper down there.

i was quoted around $1000 here in california as well plus $500-$1500 for whatever kit you choose. which i think is too expensive for labor myself. myself. my buddy at work just got a 88 bronco so i THINK we are going to do mine then his together.

so in saying that if you want to pay $1000 like yardape said thats the easiest option. or maybe see depending on your abilities if you have a friend to help out. also consider if you have the time to do the job right.

your other option (which is what i have started exploring in case my buddy theory falls through) is to check with mechanics in your area who maybe do side jobs or are freelancers. i have found a couple out here that work for the 4x4 places and are certified and have good references that will do the work for over 1/2 the price as the shop here at my place. less if i help with the install. you just have to make sure if you go that route to ask to see their certs and check references and maybe go see some of the vehicles they have lifted. and ask them plenty of questions about suspension lifts to make sure they're not blowing smoke up your ass.

yes paying someone is def the easiest way, lifting the rear of the truck is pretty easy, its the front thats gaedest, due to the fact you have to chisel or grind off the stock rivets holding the stock brackets on in order to swap out for the dropped brackets, if you kno what to do its more time consuming then hard, what kit did you plan to go with?
