the shoulder belts did not come until the 90's and they had a torx head bolt above the rear side windows your should have (from the drivers side) the male half bolted to the outer end of the bench female and second male bolted together third is again the male and female bolted together and lastly the female (on passenger side) try folding the seat and see if there are two small plastic boxes about a third of the way in from each side if you see those the other parts should be there and may be just folded down into the cushions

To the best of my knowledge, 1992 was the first year for rear shoulderbelts. There should be no shoulderbelts in your '89 Bronco. If you can't find your belts like wtfdisux described, there are several sights on the web where you can get suitable replacements to match your interior color at a reasonable price. Just type in "seatbelts" on Google. Also you can get universal type lap belts at parts stores like Autozone or Advance Auto but they may only be available in black.

To quote the movie "Old School", tell them," Stop bein a P@%#Y, and sit back." I mean come on. Unless you are wearing a 5 point while wheelin what good do they really do. The greatest advice I ever got was, " don't hook your thumbs around the steering wheel unless you want to break them." Other than that it was hold on and don't spill your beer on my interior. Mud is ok though.
