standard to metric tire size

This may be a dumb ques. but. I am running LT265-75-16 on my 89 bronco and I want to but a new set of tires on them but they only come in metris sizes (ie 32inch etc.) I have asked anound at the local tire places but is like talking to chevy people (just kidding). Is there a convertion equation out there to figure it out? >-
