spare tire conversion

while i'm waiting to do my lift i have to some small stuff to my bronco or i'll go nuts. once i do the lift and add bigger tires i'm guessing the outside tire carrier won't support a larger tire. anyone done a conversion and moved the spare tire inside like some of the broncos had stock? how tough is it to do? and is it possible (i would think so) in a 1990?

my brother did it in his 90 bronco and he has a 35 inch spare. its not hard just gotta drill holes and shit
