I am in the process of designing my own solution to my boat/ladder/wood/spare tire carrying dilema. Also might rig in the soft top, build an exoskeleton over the hard top etc.

and i have a 35 inch spare now instead of that 31 incher.

and by the way i wouldnt leave the spare up there while your roadin unless your rack i super *********.

I have a pic of your truck in my screensaver and that spare always looks funny.

I think I am going to make a roll cage to fit inside the hard top, and stretch a soft top over that and have it snap on where the hard top bolts on now. Then the cage would give the soft top structure, and I could bolt a rack on to the top of that.
