Short throw shifter

Yes, wildhorses4x4 sells them. Right now its spendy but they are building one out of metal instead of aluminum to reduce the cost. Check it out, no more rowing action of that shifter, make it a short shift kit thats easy to reach.

Short throw shifter. Its a shorter shifter than stock great for slamming gears while drag racing. Right at home in a Bronco :-& #036;

I have a body lift and a 435 tranny. The console and shifter make contact when I stick that bad boy in reverse. A short throw shifter would eliminate that right away. The problem with the one listed above, is it is for the early bronco. Not that that is HUGE hill, but I want one that fits in the stock location.

this is probably a stupid question.. but what advantage is there to having a short throw shifter in a bronco?
