I just bought my 89 bronco and was wondering if they made a roll bar for it or if I had to manufacture one myself. Does anybody know this?

I've done some looking myself, and I haven't found a big name that'll spot you one. For me, it's all been a matter of local shops or doing one up myself (with help from some much more advanced welders, of course.)

Plus, if you make it yourself, not only can you brag and show off something you did, you can cutomize it. I've seen some with boxed areas so the cooler doesn't get crushed or go for a ride and spill all over t he back...

so i'm looking into building my own, but I need a pipe bender. I'm wondering how big of one I need. I found a couple good deals on them, bout 100 dollars for something that will fit the pipe I'm going to use. Anybody out there bend pipe? I have a couple bad ass ideas for my own roll cage, but I don't want to spend lots of money on stuff that won't work.

I could not find them on the website either, but you can order their catalog or download a digital copy here. The cage is on page 142.

Most of the roll bars I've seen in Broncos are custom fabricated. Does the roll bar have to be functional or just for looks?
